COVID-19 & Pennino Family Dentistry: Keeping Our Patients, Team, And Community Safe

At Pennino Family Dentistry, our first and foremost goal is to help you and your family achieve optimal oral and overall health in a safe and comfortable environment.
For everyone these days, staying healthy is a top priority – and for many, a visit to the dentist may be far from your mind. Let us assure you of two things: dentistry is an essential health service, and the dentist’s office is one of the safest places for you to visit – after all, our goal is to keep our patients healthy and we have always followed strict mandates and recommendations of our governing bodies (CDC, OSHA, the Illinois Dental Society, and the American Dental Association).
A dental practice has become one of the most-sterile atmospheres you can be in, second only to a hospital operating room.
To help you get the critical professional oral care you need and want, here’s what we’re doing to keep you safe.

We use Surgically Clean AirTM and Rabbit Air Units

In an effort to keep everyone safe, we have installed brand-new air purifiers throughout the office at Pennino Family Dentistry.

Surgically Clean Air™ takes air filtration to a whole new level. Instead of just filtering pollutants, this system destroys them! In less than 2 minutes, the purifiers clean and sterilize an entire treatment room. Creating an environment where you and our team are breathing fresh, clean, energizing air. This not only protects you from viruses that cause respiratory illnesses, but also results in more productivity and a safer, healthier environment. By sterilizing particulate, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), bio-aerosols, bacteria, fungi, and viruses, this air purification system helps us keep Pennino Family Dentistry, you, your family, our team, and our community more protected.

Our practice is open and here to help you stay healthy. As dentists in Barrington, we continue to use our training as experts in infection prevention and control to keep your dental visits safe.

We are open to provide non-essential, elective, emergency, and urgent care. Why is this so important? Because gum disease makes it much harder to fight other infections, like COVID-19. Study after study confirms – your oral health is critical for your overall health through the mouth/body connection.

At Pennino Family Dentistry, we have been safely treating patients throughout the pandemic and we don't want you to delay your regular visits or important care. We always follow the strictest sterilization protocols and take every necessary precaution for our patients, team, and community's safety and health.
